HBPU

HBPU has made it a strategic priority in its development planning to go global and actively work on expanding students’ international horizons. It has been committed to increasingly active cooperation and exchanges in education and research with over 20 universities and institutions in Canada, the United States of America, France, New Zealand, Korea, etc. for the purposes such as student and faculty exchange, collaborative research, running joint education programs, etc. On the long list of visitors, there are distinguished professors and scholars, chancellors of universities, government leaders as well as managing directors of international companies. Although HBPU did make a great progress in the past, it will keep on stepping forward with full vigor and vitality, aiming to develop into a university servicing the local economy and society with strength on hands-on skills.

    HBPU innovates its talent cultivation mode and carries out quality-oriented education in accordance with the requirements of the local economic development to the graduates. It has trained qualified graduates for the society with solid foundation, strong hands-on competence, high comprehensive qualities, spirit of innovation and adaptability to the society and many graduates earned positive reviews from their employers. Many students have won all kinds of honors in the national contests such as Mathematical Modeling Contest, Electron Design Contest, Mechanical Creative Design Contest, Calligraphy, Painting, Mandarin and College English Contest, etc. Many students have won honors such as “China May 4th Youth Medal”, “National Meritorious Women” and so on. Over 10% of graduates are admitted to pursue their postgraduate study in prestigious universities in China and abroad and HBPU won prizes for a couple of times for its achievements in helping the graduates find satisfactory jobs.
